Privacy Policy

PÁSEK is a local-first app: data about your property (scans, floor plans, photos, notes, measurements) stays on your device. The core features need no server of ours and this data never reaches us. We only process what you actively send us — typically an e-mail with feedback.

01Who processes the data

The controller is the operator of the PÁSEK app — Indigo Studio, Prague, Czech Republic. Contact for all data-protection matters: [email protected].

02In-app data stays with you

• Scans, floor plans, areas, photo pins, notes and tags are stored locally on the device (app files).
• We have no access to this data, it is not sent to any server of ours, and we do not sell it.
• Exporting (PDF / USDZ / JSON) and any sharing of the export is triggered by you — where you send it is your choice.
• Optional sync across devices is not yet part of the app. When it arrives, we will add a separate addendum to this policy.

03What we process when you contact us

When you write to our support or send feedback (by e-mail or via WhatsApp), we process:

• for e-mail, your e-mail address; for WhatsApp, your phone number and profile name,
• the content of your message (including any attached screenshot).

WhatsApp is operated by Meta and communication through it is also governed by the WhatsApp privacy policy. If you'd rather not use WhatsApp, write to us by e-mail.

Purpose: handling your enquiry and improving the app based on feedback.
Legal basis: your consent and our legitimate interest in communicating with users and developing the product (Art. 6(1)(a) and (f) GDPR).
Retention: for the time necessary to handle the matter and defend potential claims, at most 24 months from the last communication.

04Anonymous crash reports and optional telemetry

To fix bugs and improve the app, we work with two kinds of technical data — neither contains data about your property (scans, floor plans, photos, measurements) nor anything that would identify you:

• Anonymous crash reporting (on). When the app crashes, an anonymous error record is created (crash type, place in the code, app and OS version, device model). It serves solely to fix bugs and is not linked to your identity.
• Sharing anonymous usage data (optional, off by default). You can voluntarily help development by enabling the sharing of anonymous, aggregated statistics about how the app is used (e.g. which features get used). This option is off by default, asked for only as an opt-in, and you can switch it off again anytime in the app settings. The app works exactly the same without it.

Purpose: stability and development of the app.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest in keeping the app working and improving it for crash reports (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR); your consent for the optional usage-data sharing (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

05News and offers (only with your consent)

If you give us a separate and voluntary consent (e.g. by ticking "I want to receive news and offers" in the contact form or directly in an e-mail), we may send news about the app's development and commercial offers for PÁSEK to your address (e.g. paid-version launch, discounts for beta testers).

• Scope: e-mail address and a record that and when you gave consent.
• Purpose: direct marketing of PÁSEK's own products and services.
• Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
• Retention: until consent is withdrawn; afterwards we put you on a "do not send" list to respect your choice.

Consent is entirely voluntary — the app and support work exactly the same without it. You can unsubscribe anytime: via the link in every e-mail, by replying "UNSUBSCRIBE", or at [email protected]. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of earlier processing.

We may use a processor for the mailing (an e-mail tool provider); they process addresses only on our instructions and we never hand them to anyone for their own marketing.

06TestFlight beta (Apple)

If you join the TestFlight beta, distribution and testing run through Apple's TestFlight service. In this context Apple processes e.g. your Apple ID, device data, crash statistics (crash logs) and feedback you send directly through TestFlight. That processing is governed by Apple's privacy policy, not by this one. Crash logs may be made available to us in anonymised / aggregated form for bug fixing (see also section 04 on anonymous crash reporting).

07The pasek.app website

The website is static and runs on Cloudflare Pages. We use no advertising or analytics cookies and do not track you across the web. The infrastructure provider (Cloudflare) may process technical logs (e.g. IP address) to keep the service running and secure. The contact form merely opens your e-mail client — no data is sent through the website to any server of ours.

08Who we share data with

We do not sell personal data and do not pass it to third parties for their own marketing. Processors in the technical sense may include providers of infrastructure, mailing and e-mail delivery (e.g. Apple, Cloudflare, the e-mail inbox or mailing-tool provider), who process data only on our instructions. Transfers outside the EU are governed by the standard safeguards of those providers.

09Your rights

• the right of access to your data and to its rectification,
• the right to erasure ("right to be forgotten") and to restriction of processing,
• the right to withdraw consent anytime (for the future) — including consent to news and offers,
• the right to object to direct marketing (we'll stop sending) and the right to data portability,
• the right to lodge a complaint with the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (uoou.gov.cz).

10Changes

We may update this policy (especially once sync or the paid version arrives). The current version will always be on this page with its effective date.
