Terms of Service
These terms govern the use of the PÁSEK app ("the app") and the pasek.app website. By using the app you agree to them. The operator is Indigo Studio, Prague, Czech Republic (contact [email protected]).
01What PÁSEK is
PÁSEK is a tool that uses an iPhone/iPad (LiDAR, RoomPlan/ARKit) to measure a property and create a "digital passport" — a floor plan, areas, a 3D model, photo documentation and manual measurements with a tracked tolerance. Data is stored locally on the device (local-first).
The outputs are indicative, intended for planning, budgeting and visualizing a renovation. It is not a geodetic survey for a building authority, nor a demarcation of plot boundaries or buried utility lines. Before digging, always have utilities marked out by their operators, and bring in a licensed professional for official documentation.
02Beta version
- The app is currently in beta (TestFlight) and is provided "as is", free of charge for testing purposes.
- The beta may contain bugs, be unstable or change; features are not guaranteed.
- We recommend backing up exports of important data — during the beta we do not guarantee data preservation between versions.
- By joining the beta via TestFlight you also agree to the Apple / TestFlight terms.
03Feedback
When you send us feedback, a suggestion or a bug report, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free right to use it to improve the app, with no claim to remuneration. Nothing ever obliges you to reveal anything confidential — only send what you can share.
04Licence and price
After the beta ends, the app will be offered as paid (a one-time purchase, around ~399 CZK) through the App Store; upon purchase you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence for personal use (including Family Sharing under Apple's rules). The core features run offline and without a subscription. Purchases, payments, refunds and taxes are governed by the terms of the respective store (App Store).
Optional sync across devices may in the future be offered as a separate paid service (a subscription of around ~30 CZK/month). It is not part of the current version and using the app does not depend on it.
05Your obligations
- You use the app in accordance with the law and the rights of third parties.
- Only scan and photograph spaces you are authorised to.
- You will not attempt to modify the app without authorisation, reverse-engineer it beyond what the law allows, or disrupt its operation.
06Limitation of liability
The app is an assistive, indicative tool. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damages arising from reliance on inaccurate measurements or outputs, for decisions made on their basis, or for data loss. The user and their professional advisers are responsible for accuracy and fitness for a particular purpose (especially construction and official matters). Your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.
07Changes to the terms
We may update these terms (especially when moving from beta to the paid version and when sync launches). The current version is always on this page with its effective date.
08Governing law
The relationship is governed by the law of the Czech Republic. Consumer disputes may also be resolved out of court via the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (coi.cz).
